Outside Sales Representative

Hire Advantage is seeking a full-time exempt Outside Sales Representative to join the Sales team of a local ISP company. In this role, the primary responsibilities will include connecting with potential and/or existing customers, building rapport, delivering solutions, and closing sales. A successful sales representative will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. This role is vital to the company and will play a role in increasing revenue and customer satisfaction. This position will be eligible for commissions based on an agreed-upon commission schedule.

The base wage for this position is $30,000 per year plus commission.

Essential Job Functions • Visit In-person location of potential &/or existing customers looking for new or upgraded services • Make outbound calls to follow up potential leads &/or existing customers • Stay current with our product & service information & updates • Explain, educate & demonstrate features of products & services to find the right solution for the customer • Upsell our products & services • Maintain excellent ticketing by documenting customer accounts appropriately • Stay informed about competing products & services • Achieve and exceed sales targets • Other duties as directed

Job Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Current valid Driver’s License • 1+ year of proven successful sales experience • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future.

Physical Requirements: • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR

Desired Skills & Competencies • Strong drive to close sales & achieve goals • Communicate effectively via phone, email & message systems • Telecom or relatable industry experience preferred • Ability to effectively explain service offerings • Demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments & meetings • Comfortable with Microsoft Office & similar software packages • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor • Comfortable working solo with little daily oversight • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask • Outstanding customer service skills • Strong listening skills, good closing abilities • 1+ year of Door to Door based sales experience
